Fun and touching photoshoot

I really enjoyed this blog post by a fellow Mary fan who took pictures of her daughter in iconic Mary poses. She has a moving personal story and good points about the need for more heroes for little girls, plus the pictures are super cute. http://greenawaltfamilylife.blogspot.com/2013/09/mini-mary-mito-awareness-more.html
On a whim I decided to go reread some of Jacob's recaps on TWOP and 2/3rds of them are no longer there! I wonder why they would delete his recap of Taking a Break from All Your Worries but keep recaps of Black Market and The Woman King? Bummed.
Hmm...I got very upsetting news today that my sister and her partner had a house fire last night. They and their pets are ok but they will be unable to live in their home for several months and only have partial insurance coverage for their belongs. Both are semi disabled and in a precarious financial and emotional state already, so I'm feeling a lot of worry and dread about them. They are 800 miles away so I can't go help right now.

So...I retreated to a little therapeutic BSG clip watching and noticed something.in which I make a big deal about a tiny detail.Collapse )

This is the first thing I ever wrote about AR. I was lucky enough to get both of them to sign it at D*C last year, although MM couldn't read it because she didn't have her glasses...

Hi Friends,
I may be scarce around here for a while. I got sudden, terrible news tonight that my mother has died.
